JAVA INGRAM IS AN EMMY-NOMINATED TV HOST AND SEASONED EMCEE.
In her decade long on-air television career, Java has interviewed everyone from local entrepreneurs to Hollywood stars and Hall of Fame athletes.
Java uses her naturally charismatic personality to connect with CBS Tampa viewers and to make interviewees feel at ease. As an emcee, Java has captivated live audiences at countless festivals, galas, pageants and fundraisers from Texas to Mississippi to Alabama to Florida!
In her decade long on-air television career, she has interviewed the likes of Bob Saget, Marlon Wayans, Harry Connick Jr, Gayle King, Tiffany Haddish and Gilbert Gottfried, just to name a few. She has also appeared on North America’s longest running lifestyle show for women, Canada’s ‘Cityline.'
As a multi award-winning journalist, Java has been recognized by the Associated Press for Best Anchor, Best Reporter and Best Franchise Reporting. Recently, Java was nominated for an Emmy for her series Great Day Dining highlighting local chefs on CBS Tampa.
Since moving to Tampa in 2019, Java was nominated as "Best TV Host" in Creative Loafing's coveted Best of the Bay issue. In addition, the show Java co-hosts, has been named "Best Morning TV Show” for 4 consecutive years.
When she's not working, Java is very passionate about giving back to the community having served on the Corporate Boards for The Boys and Girls Club in several states in addition to serving on the boards of multiple dance companies. Locally, she has worked with the Center for Women, St. Jude, Art Ties Us, Women’s Conference of Florida.
